Development Associate

Mr. Tate is a Development Associate at Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners. He is primarily responsible for project management on construction and development projects for Jair Lynch. Currently, Mr. Tate is working on a variety of third-party client program management assignments, including the renovation of the historic 400,000 sf Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Library on behalf of the District of Columbia Public Library System (“DCPL”). In addition, Mr. Tate manages Jair Lynch Sponsored Investment projects, providing project management support and expertise. Mr. Tate is currently working on the Shops at Penn Hill, an 80,000 square foot retail center with a mixed-use redevelopment project adjacent to the property.

Prior to joining Jair Lynch, he gained experience in residential and commercial construction contractor management and provided advisory services as an owner’s consultant. Mr. Tate has worked on an array of development assignments, that include libraries, charter schools, mixed-use, warehouse and distribution facilities, commercial tenant improvements, mixed-income residential and single/multi-family homes. His diverse project management capabilities extended to international development projects, which includes program management, civil construction and coordination of relief efforts in Southeast Asia and Africa.
