Rameez Munawar

Investment Associate

Rameez Munawar is an investment associate at Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners. He is primarily responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, negotiating leases, and managing construction budgets and schedules. He is currently focused on The Shops at Penn Branch, an existing 80,000 square foot retail center with an additional mixed-use development component, and 609 H Street NE, a 90,000 square foot office building undergoing a major redevelopment.

Prior to joining Jair Lynch, Mr. Munawar worked as a senior associate for Columbia Property Trust where his team led major renovation and releasing efforts across the office portfolio in Washington DC and Boston. Most notably, the team successfully renovated and re-leased Market Square, a prominent 700,000 square foot trophy office building on Pennsylvania Avenue. The $30 million capital investment plan focused on modernizing the buildings main lobby, fitness center, conference center, roof deck, multi-tenant common areas, and major mechanical systems. This effort ultimately led to signing 58 leases totaling 480,000 square feet.
