Jair Lynch Video Projection During 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star Game

Jair Lynch is developing a new mixed use community in the Ballpark District neighborhood of SE DC. The building known as 1250 will be an extraordinary place delivering luxury apartments and exciting retail spaces. At 1250 there is NO OFF SEASON!

In July 2018, the District of Columbia and the Washington Nationals hosted the 89th Major League Baseball All Star Game. For this event, Jair Lynch commissioned a public art installation to activate the 1250 construction site, immediately adjacent to Nationals Stadium. Local artist, Robin Bell, designed and installed a large video projection display that highlighted the energy, color and movement of the future 1250 community.

Working with Cultural DC, Robin’s art was inspired by the spaces and places around 1250, Jair Lynch’s vision for the community, the proposed building design, and the excitement of the MLB All Star Game.

The outcome was a multi-dimensional projection that illuminated the neighborhood with bright colors, welcomed All-Star Game visitors and celebrated the exciting residential and retail opportunities coming to 1250.

Jair Lynch remains committed to creating extraordinary neighborhoods that allows art, local artists and partners to participate in true placemaking.
