JAIR LYNCH Development Partners is developing an entire city block on behalf of AmeriDream, Inc., a non-profit organization in Southeast Washington. Two of the eleven buildings on the site will be renovated to produce thirty new units of affordable housing; the rest of the buildings will be demolished to make way for seventy-six new affordable townhome-style buildings with flats. The project is a catalyst for new development in the Marshall Heights neighborhood. Students from the JC Nalle Elementary School, located a short block away from the development, named the project Woodson Heights to honor Washington's own HD Woodson as well as the first principal of their school, whose last name was Woodson.
