JAIR LYNCH Development Partners provided development management services to Friendship Public Charter School, Inc., the largest public charter school in Washington, D.C., for a 32,000 square foot addition to its Woodridge Campus. In a unique blending of old and new architecture, the project expanded the K-5 campus to accommodate a Pre-K-8 program. The addition contains classrooms, a new gymnasium, a Smart Lab and an expanded cafetorium. Selective renovations were made to the existing building to accommodate additional Pre-K classrooms. Enrollment expanded to approximately 600 students upon completion. This fast-track design-build project was competed in October 2004.
