whitman-walker clinic facilities disposition & development plan

project details:

Client: Whitman-Walker Clinic
Location: Multiple sites | Washington, DC
Type: Commercial

JAIR LYNCH is serving as a consultant to Whitman-Walker Clinic to support development of state-of-the-art primary care health clinics throughout the District of Columbia. In this role, JAIR LYNCH has worked with the Clinic to determine how best to access the value in the Clinic’s real estate holdings, define its operational needs and align those needs with a comprehensive facilities plan. Initial steps included management of the solicitation of bids from private developers to acquire property from Whitman-Walker. Any developer selected to purchase the property was required to include in its development a new full-service health care facility as part of a mixed-use project. In conjunction with legal counsel, JAIR LYNCH has assisted the Clinic in negotiating sales and development contracts with the selected developer. This project demonstrates the benefits of incorporating long-term facilities planning into any organizational planning to allow for the most complete strategy accessing the greatest resources.
