Georgia Commons is planned to include 130 units of mixed-income rental housing with 62 affordable units. All housing units will be located above 23,000 square feet of community-serving retail. Working as part of a joint venture with AHD, Inc., JAIR LYNCH Development Partners sees this project as a catalyst for resident-directed change in the Petworth neighborhood, which is increasingly threatened by gentrifying forces in adjacent Columbia Heights. Because of its unique location within a half-mile of more than 500 daily public transportation rides, three public schools, and a dozen area businesses, Georgia Commons was accepted into the LEEDŽ for Neighborhood Development Pilot Program. Georgia Commons exemplifies JAIR LYNCH's commitment to affordability and sustainability.

JAIR LYNCH recognized the tremendous growth potential of Upper Northwest DC and began its work in the area with neighborhood-serving recreation centers like Emery Park and Takoma Aquatic Center, which houses the only Olympic-sized public pool in DC. JAIR LYNCH also delivered the Lamond Recreation Center, which became the first LEEDŽ Silver certified public building in the District of Columbia.
