JAIR LYNCH Development Partners, as part of a joint venture with Alpha Corporation, acted as fee developer for the DC Department of Parks and Recreation to build this state-of-the-art recreation facility. Using an alternative delivery method in which the joint venture held all contracts, JAIR LYNCH participated in the delivery of this neighborhood-serving project to Ward 4, which had previously lacked a quality recreation facility. Completed in 2002, the 27,000 square foot facility houses an indoor gymnasium with locker rooms, multi-purpose rooms and classrooms.

JAIR LYNCH recognized the tremendous growth potential of Upper Northwest DC and began its work in the area with neighborhood-serving recreation centers like Emery Park and Takoma Aquatic Center, which houses the only Olympic-sized public pool in DC. JAIR LYNCH also delivered the Lamond Recreation Center, which became the first LEEDŽ Silver certified public building in the District of Columbia. Currently, JAIR LYNCH is working on Georgia Commons, an affordable rental project on Georgia Avenue. The project is part of the LEEDŽ for Neighborhood Development Pilot Project.
