JAIR LYNCH Development Partners is currently serving as development manager for the Capital Area Food Bank as it endeavors to design and construct a new warehouse and distribution facility in Northeast Washington. When completed, the facility will provide both food and outreach services to the region's 700+ member agencies. The new facility will have an increased number of docks for in-bound and out-bound deliveries and pick ups, a market for agencies to shop for goods, and a training kitchen to educate agencies on healthy food preparation. Through a partnership with BP Solar, CAFB will be powered by more than $1 million in donated solar power; it is expected to achieve LEEDŽ Silver certification.
