JAIR LYNCH Development Partners, in a partnership with Triangle Development Associates, developed two formerly vacant parcels of land in Columbia Heights into mixed-income, new construction developments of for-sale condominiums designed to capture the international lifestyle of the neighborhood. The resulting projects are Barcelona and Verona Parc, which were built on land owned by the National Capital Revitalization Corporation. In a remarkable public/private partnership, NCRC leveraged its land value as equity for 20% of the 63 units to be sold as affordable. A local architecture firm, Eric Colbert & Associates, was the architect of record on the project, which was completed in 2006.
