When JAIR LYNCH Development Partners began to outgrow its offices on U Street, the company made a bold decision to avoid having to leave the neighborhood. Instead, JAIR LYNCH undertook a major renovation of its offices that resulted in a 3,600 square foot modern addition to the historic rowhouse; an addition that was featured in DesignCult for its masterful expression of the old and new. The open, studio floor plan reflects the way in which JAIR LYNCH staff engages each other in their work. The project, which was designed by Inscape Studios, won the DC Chapter of American Institute of Architects (DCAIA) Award of Merit 2004 for Outstanding Achievement in Architecture.
