May 7, 2009 - Another day, another celebrity tours one of our projects! Actresses Jessica Alba and Keri Russell hosted a celebrity book club with kids at Unity Health Care's Upper Cardozo Health Center, where JAIR LYNCH will soon be managing a multi-phased, in-place renovation. According to People Magazine, the two actresses were in town on behalf of the Children's Defense Fund. Joining them were fellow Hollywood heavyweights Regina King, Jurnee Smollett, and Ali Wentworth, who together promoted quality affordable health care for children.

This is the latest in a recent series of celebrity visits to projects JAIR LYNCH is managing on behalf of our non-profit clients. At the end of April, First Lady Michelle Obama and Wife of the Vice President Jill Biden lended their hands to volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank. And before that, the First Lady paid a visit to Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care, whose newest location in the District will be located on the commercial level of Georgia Commons. Georgia Commonis is our 130-unit rental community that recently broke ground in Petworth.
DCist suggested celebs stop by Bread for the City next, and we couldn't agree more! We're just happy to see our clients in the national spotlight where they belong.
